Moreover and per (Spiegel Online International) Mr. Bergen stated the following in an interview with Spiegel “The world and the United States have other issues to contend with, like climate change, China and globalization.”  WHAT?!?!  Did I miss something?  Did al Qaeda throw in their bloodstained towel and go back home fully defeated?  I don’t think so!!!  I feel that Mr. Bergen believes that the legs of al Qaeda have been severed rendering them motionless with their abilities to go forth with death and destruction against Americans and all those who oppose them on the world stage.  There is no doubt, that al Qaeda has suffered a powerful uppercut that has staggered them backwards grabbing at their heads, however, rest assured that al Qaeda is crawling around creeping and lurking like the creature from the black lagoon mobilizing themselves and their diabolical plan of action. 

Does he (Mr. Bergen not the ominous lagoon goon) think that we should let down our guard and pursuit against this evil and sit nicely and play Candyland or something or maybe even a friendly game of Twister with al Qaeda?  Furtheremore, death to America, its people and all those who oppose al Qaeda’s mission is so deeply entrenched in al Qaeda’s core that it is like color change embedded in a Chameleon!  The United States nor I will simply just set this issue to the side gently and move on, nope and don’t wanna!
